About the Session
The Department of CSE – CS&DS, in association with its technical partner, the Brainware ACM Student Chapter, established an academic and technical association with Mr. Stanzin Norzang, Founder of ExtensionShield, USA. Mr. Norzang is a full-time software professional dedicated to the development and advancement of ExtensionShield.
The core team of the Department interacted with Mr. Norzang and discussed various aspects of the technical development of ExtensionShield, as well as potential career opportunities and avenues for student engagement. Following the discussion, Mr. Norzang agreed to interact with the students through an online session titled "Extension Security Lab."
As part of the initial activity, students were required to review the ExtensionShield application — downloading, installing, and using it to identify bugs, required modifications, usability issues, or suggestions for improvement. Observations were documented using the template provided in the enclosure.
